NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING
CONCERNING A PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT
MUNICIPALITY OF McDOUGALL

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of McDougall will hold a public meeting on April 28, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council chambers at the Municipal Office to consider a proposed zoning by-law amendment under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

THE PURPOSE of the proposed Zoning By-law amendment is to Rezone Part of Lot 13, Concession A fronting Georgian Bay in the geographic Township of McDougall from the Tourist Commercial (C2) Zone to a Special Provision Zoning.

THE EFFECT of the proposed rezoning is to recognise a consent of the Parry Sound Area Planning Board File No. B38/2003(McD) that creates one waterfront residential lot accessed by a private right-of-way on Georgian Bay.

AND TAKE NOTICE that the lands that are subject of this zoning by-law amendment are the subject of a consent application (Parry Sound Area Planning Board File No. B38/2003(McD).

AND TAKE NOTICE that the lands that are subject of this zoning by-law amendment are not the subject of an application for an Official Plan Amendment or an approval of a plan of subdivision.

ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and make written and/or verbal representations either in support of or in opposition to the proposed Zoning By-law amendment.

IF ANY PERSON OR PUBLIC BODY that files an appeal of a decision of the Council of the Municipality of McDougall in respect of the proposed zoning by-law does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Corporation of the Municipality of McDougall before the proposed zoning by-law is adopted, the Ontario Municipal Board may dismiss all or part of the appeal.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION is available for inspection at the Municipal Office during normal office hours.
